A blog is what you need for your online business as many network marketing experts will advise you. That is what it all comes down to. Top company value, high customer loyalty, and greater profit. Isn’t that what you’re interested in? Personal branding, building trust with clients, increasing your company value and increasing traffic to your company website – mix all these key ingredients together and you have created a monster – a monster list of leads!

So this is how we break it down:

Personal Branding

One way to combine the sameness of the dreaded wall of text is to include a video and this is one of the advantages of using a blog. This is an extremely useful tool for Internet Network Marketer to put a face to the name of the company – we will talk about this in another article.

I have to stress this point over and over again, let your individuality shine through. Most (if not all) successful blogs are teeming with personality. Simply, it makes your blog interesting. Interesting to read, interesting to share, and interesting enough that your readers become your subscribers to return time and time again.

Cost effectiveness;

A blog does not cost anything so anytime you have a brand new product or service to broadcast, do it on your blog. Press releases can be costly – certainly more costly than free. Say it with me… Free.

The people who have subscribed to your updates and will be keeping an eye on it thanks to it being free. That is they will be once you have established a following thanks to your informative blog posts.

You can kill two birds with one stone by reaching prospective clients who subscribe to your blog and by using your blog to advertise your product or service, you provide them the medium to openly discuss the product or service with you.

Building Relationships, Establishing Trust

Trust that is the fundamental value of attraction marketing. And if I had to pick a second value, I’d pick trust again.

Back to using your blogs as medium for open discussion -it’s the most powerful tool at your disposal. One way of building a relationship with potential clients is by talking and interacting with them. Eventually clients want to buy products and services from businesses they trust. By providing them with informative articles on your blog that are relevant to the products or services they are seeking, you are increasing the value of your company.

Share the worries of your customers. Answer their questions. Use your blog to inform them that you have the product, service and/or knowledge to satisfy their needs. Invest in your subscribers and they will invest in you.

Indeed, for you to attract subscribers, it takes a little work. Time, as always, is a force to be reckoned with.

Increase in Traffic

Use the time you have. Make a plan of what your blog will be about, how often you can seriously create unique content for it, and absolutely commit to making it happen.

New materials appeals to the main search engines and that’s why it is advantageous to always post fresh articles frequently. So, with this in mind, think Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This should go without saying, yet it is never understated what a powerful tool this is. The better the SEO, the higher the traffic, and the more frequent your linkbacks to your company website (the links that you provide in your articles that point to your “official” site if separate from your blog) will be clicked.

Last but not least, lead capturing;

For you to know who your leads are, you can simply go through the list of the people who sign up to your blog. It’s that simple.

These tools can be beneficial, so make use of them. You know your product or service is what the consumer is looking for so show them what you’ve got. Use the blog to build your fan base, list of leads, customer loyalty and potential distributors.

And finally, remember personality is core, don’t be scared to show it either by your own creation and imagination whether it be an informative article, a video response, an open discussion or a fun inquisition of your target audience through integration of your Facebook, Twitter or Flickr accounts. The (blog) world is your oyster. Invest in your subscribers, and in return they will invest in you.

The internet is a great place to market your business because it allows you to market your products or services to varying groups of individuals, globally. Some of these groups could be;

- People who are looking to join someone in your company,
- Network marketers who want to build their business online.
-People who are new to network marketing and are looking for an opportunity.

Some years back a group of us used relationship building as a marketing strategy for our businesses. There was one community around at that time, which was for people who believed in the Law of Attraction, and wanted to learn more about it.

Being a founding partner of that community, I dedicated a lot of my time volunteering in building the same community for others. I wrote blogs, held forums and participated a whole lot in that.

My hard work paid off and eventually I got easier and easier to find on the internet. I had pictures up of all my scuba diving trips, and of holidays I had been on.  I had a little story about me and my family on my “home page”.

There was immense traffic to my site and lots of people got attracted and joined my business. One person I attracted was actually looking for someone in my company to join, and has since gone on to attract over four thousand people into his own business (and mine).

So – . that’s where I got lazy!  At that time life was very easy and simple, I just sat back and relaxed. All I did was give a lot of valuable information to communities and basically I got by just being me. I also learned how to attract customers so I sold a reasonable amount of company products during that time.

Well, this has been a lot of fun but I have realised it is not the best that I can actually achieve. Sure, I’ve been lucky and made a lot of money, but I want to do MUCH more than that!

I have not been doing any serious follow ups on lead lists or even working out my sales funnel, this has held back my business potential and cost me money, so I have decided to embark on the following;
<b>Attraction Marketing is  More than JUST Giving Value to Others</b>
Attraction marketing is more than just giving value to others time after time without asking for anything in return. It works that way to some extent, but there are actions you can take to make it work even better. It’s no good just giving value to people and never asking for anything in return.

It IS VERY important to “BE out there” giving value to people, and there are other important pieces to the puzzle also.  Things cannot just happen on their own if you simply attract people to you and that’s all.

A few years back, I was advised to consider complementing my offline marketing with internet marketing too. So, I thought it might be fun to work with people locally, and he made it sound pretty easy.

So I started by bringing along my business opportunity DVD with me to one of our swimming club meetings and shared it with one of the members and asked him to give me an honest review of it. “Sure I’ll do it, Julieanne” he assured me, staffing it into his bag as we went off for some swimming rounds.

I told him I would be following up on it after some days and that was it. Actually it wasn’t easy at all. I did as I had promised and made that call. His wife was the one who picked it up, she wasn’t very warm, handed me to him and as difficult as it was I managed to ask him what he felt about the DVD.

Well, he asked me to bring along some of the products on the next swimming session because he had grown an interest in them although he wasn’t interested in starting a business.

So on the next meeting I had my products stacked in a cooler and let him have them at the after swim barbeque. He tried the product in front of everyone else, and in a really loud voice said…   “you know, people tell me snake oil makes you healthy too”.
Bottom line, that was an embarrassing moment since he didn’t even buy them anyway. Anyway – . To cut a long story short, I didn’t have much fun speaking to people who weren’t asking for information in the first place.

That’s the advantage of internet marketing. It allows you to market to only the audience who have genuine interest in what you have to offer. There are millions of people searching online for solutions to their problems.  And, I’m sure your product or service will provide a solution for many of those searchers.

The internet is global and opens you to a really huge market that is more narrowed down to your real prospects. So – if you’re going to market your products or service online, the most important thing to do before anything else is:  Decide WHO YOUR Target Market is.
Base it around your interests and your MLM business will become absolutely fun and enjoyable.
